Born in the north of France with roots in the West Indies and Cameroon, bass-player and singer Clement Esso grew up in a multicultural, colorful environment with music from Africa (Manu Dibango, Richard Bona) the Caribbean (Jacob Desvarieux & Kassav, E.sy Kennenga), France (Hocus Pocus, Doc Gyneco, Saian Supa Crew), and the US (Michael Jackson).

 

This duality sculpted his identity as a musician and nurtured his desire to create music with deep messages full of hope and awakeness, and groovy-sunny-soulful tracks.

 

Esso's live experience speaks for itself; he played in 4 bands and rocked already +100 shows in Barcelona's area since 2020.
